In a move that can only be described as a temporary case of insanity, Creative has decided to release a player that looks like a cow. No, this is not some early April Fools Joke (though I wish it were). Frankly I'm having difficulty taking myself seriously enough to write more, but here we go. The player is aptly called the "Zen Moo", and comes in an assortmnet of bovine-themed colors. The player is essentially the Zen Stone series in Cows clothing. As you can see from the picture below there are two versions, a screenless version and a Plus version that has a small OLED screen (that's the cows nose!), 2GB's of memory, an FM tuner, and built-in speakers. The battery life is approximately 20 hours, and get this there's an included game where you get to train and feed your very own cow. It's like the tamagotchi of days past, but with a new farm fresh spin.



The player is currently exclusive to China, and hopefully it stays there to prevent Creative from becoming the laughing stock of the world. I'm just sad that they've tainted the Zen line with this player. Couldn't they be a little bit more Creative and go with the "Muvo MooVo"?
