Anyone here got it already? Any reviews? google has a couple but nothing concise... Was the interface sped up as we were led to believe?

I could have sworn the door bell was in my dreams as I was dozing but it was real! Didn't expect to get my hands on it till Monday late but got it today instead! Ok, first things first then I'll shut up. I tried my Myvu Crystals with the X-Fi 2 and after a moment of cursing I realized the AV cable wasn't plugged in all the way. It worked just fine and now I can watch movies without bending my neck.
After customizing the way I wanted I can definitely say the touch screen will take a few days to get used to but I will eventually love it. The speaker may need a bit of tweaking to be as good as the original X-Fi but then I always turn up the crystalizer. The interface is quick and seamless and very easy to navigate. It seems a bit easier to use than the iTouch that I played with once but then again we are talking a Creative product and who owes who royalty fees? The only thing I want to change is that they're still using Creative Centrale and I liked the system for the Vision: M better. Overall, I'm happy. It's better than the X-Fi but only marginally with the AV thing and the larger screen size.

The Creative Zen Vision:M was most likely the greatest MP3 player of ALL TIME! The Zen X-Fi came in right after that, but it wasn't as good... *tear*

Are the interfaces for videos and photos the same? Make your own wallpaper? Uses the same converter that'll make most videos work on the x-fi2?

Yeah those reviews don't say much about the screen responsive and about the smoothness of the GUI ( GUI and screen are not the same thing, the GUI can be smooth, but it's the resistives screen responsiveness that worries me). If the screen were like the on the 5800 then hell Id buy it right away.

So for any of the XFi2 owners, please post on said questions. Because said things are the only thing holding me back from getting the XFI2 instead of a D2+

Edit: also techradars review doesn't do much for me, neither does that facebook group, i need more "reliable" reviews, but thanks anyway

Yes, you can make your own wallpaper.
There is no video converter. It's very frustrating. The playe ros 400 pixels so all the videos I formatted for the X-Fi are useless, especially if they are widescreen. I've been using AutoGK to make AVI files, but they seem to be choppy. Not sure how to solve this problem yet.
But the player is very nice. I'm still adjusting to the touchscreen. One thing I found very irritating is that you cannot look at the playlist. There is no way to see what tunes you've selected to play, you just have to forward through the tunes to get to the one you want to listen to. Very annoying...

Ay caramba! I've been reading all around the net that the XFi2 is getting choppy playback even at 128x128... I want to buy the XFi2 on monday, but this is making me lean towards a P3...

The Xfi2 is not all we expected it to be.. mainly due to the lackluster codec/video support but it goes beyond that. Creative lost 2 years dinking around with the Zii processor when they should have been developing the next generation PMPs which Apple and Microsoft did and released products. Now the company's hopes are pinned on the Zii Egg product which better "wow" consumers or it may just be the last product Creative makes before the company goes under.

Yeah, the XFi2 was "supposed" to have better codec support than the XFI but all over the web people are having trouble with videos not playing... I don't mind the resistive touchscreen, I don't mind the lack of wifi or bluetooth... I do mind poor video support... I guess p3 it's gonna be. The reason why the XFi2 caught my attention was because of the SD expansion port, but poor video support is not going to be better with the extra space
