And I personally love matte on hand-helds. The screen does seem to be plastic, but also seems very durable. It's very sensitive, it can sense even the lightest touch. I'm not sure of it's scratch-resistance as I left the 'screen protector' film on it. The device itself is honestly I think the perfect weight. It's not heavy enough to ever make you tired of holding it, but it's also just heavy enough to let you know it's a sturdy device. You can hold it for long periods of time and never get tired of it. And during normal use, the device NEVER gets hot anywhere. It simply gets SLIGHTLY warm in the middle. Not even noticeably warm. The only time it gets very warm is during charging. Which it then could be used to warm your hands in a cold room, at most. The screen itself is also very clear. I've put all the Futurama movies onto it and they look AWESOME. I don't care if it's OLED or not... the colors are very vibrant. This is just my opinion, but if you think something having a metal shell or a glass screen is better... you're just stupid. Obviously all materials have their own qualities and benefits, and everyone has their own opinions of which they like more... but the Zii is a sturdy device and is made well. The ONLY complaints I could have about the exterior of the device is possibly a little too much glare in some circumstances (But I've never seen a screen that had no glare), and a few extra stuck pixels than normal in the screen. | ||
