The Zen X-Fi's wireless is its most overlooked feature. No more. With a program called TVersity, you can stream any video over your home network to the Zen X-Fi. The best thing about TVersity is its ability to transcode the files for your player without conversion, meaning the program will transcode that H.264-encoded (iPod video spec) video to a type that the X-Fi can handle on the fly. In this guide, I’ll show you how to set up TVersity for using it on the X-Fi. Also included is a guide to streaming live TV such as CNN, Sky News, and MLB TV to the X-Fi. Enjoy!

I think the video streaming potential is great, a lot of players out there do not have yet.

It works! I watched NASA TV, CNN (audio behind video) Superbad movie off my hard drive, could play all my music, I tried to stream some music from somafm but couldn't get it to work. TV picture quality was ace. The ABI reviewer didn't spend enough time on the x-fi. Thanks for the guide I would have had no idea otherwise. Still can't get creative media box server to work.

The best review is try it out yourself.

Nice. Does this mean that the Zen X-FI is almost unlocked? Now, the only thing missing is to somehow get a working net browser on it.

Someone should message the ABi reviewer and/or anyone else that has already reviewed the Zen X-Fi about this. It could change their minds and potential buyers.

Those are informal reviews. A lot of buyers do not even know their existence or do not take the reviews seriously. They either tried out the devices or study customers review.

Okay, all, I've added a video on what the X-Fi looks after it works to the page. Has anyone that's tried this not gotten it to work?
