$92 and $123? Who picks those prices??

Its cool looking, but its just another player to add to the Muvo Mix (of 23, I believe) players. Why cant they just replace older players with newer ones like this? Why must they keep adding more? :?

Well it's 149 and 199 in Singapore dollars, but I just converted it to US dollars. I'm sure if it ever arrives here it'll have normal pricing. Probably 99 and 129.

Its a nice looking player... very tempting.

Yeah I like the orange OLED. I wouldn't mind the screen being a little bigger but the design looks pretty good. I wonder if they'll release it in a bunch of colors like Creative usually does.

it looks ALRIGHT. I think they need to completely redo their flash line, the whole MuVo thing is a huge mess.

So how's it different from the MuVo series?

Seriously, Creative stop making so many damn players. This one brings nothing new to the table.

They also need to move beyond the 512mb & 1gb ranges - one thing that would separate this would be 1gb & 2gb models. The sandisk sansa c100 is about this size, & it has 1gb & 2gb capacities, plus a color screen. It will compete with this S200, as well as other flash zens.

Creative put it on their website now and I've updated this. It will also come in purple and blue. [Linky]

says on their site that the little button is a 5-way navi button (???), how will that work? it looks too small to be a thumb-joystick-thingy like the red thing that comes with laptops. The pictures on the site indicate that it has a little notch or burr on the button, to indicate a direction the button is navigated to. The button in the pic of the muvo is horizontal, on the blow-up of the button below the pic, it's vertical. Does this mean we are supposed to somehow twist or turn that little button? Seems tedious.

I think the MAJOR difference between the MuVo S2000 and the rest is that it has the ability to read lyrics. Anyways, I think Creative is slowly killing off the older model. Most likely the Muvo2 series ... as they had the 5GB model going off for as low as USD$125 ...

Reading lyrics on a screen that small is totally pointless.

Lol, forgot they actually have a Muvo Mix player.

This thing is alright; I'd take this over their older flash players mainly for the non-monochrome screen.

Had a chance to check out the player today at its HQ in SG. I find it quite a pretty decent player as its very light and compact. The lyrics feature is pretty cool. The words will appear in two lines and the timing is exactly the same as the singer's singing. I do not know if you have programme the lyrics to do that or what as i couldn't find that info anywhere. Hopefully creative provide more info on this player =)

Hmmm, I would think a liner of the lyric scrolling works better than showing the whole chunk or too many of it, makes it harder to follow isn't it? I supposed they make it like Karaoke style?

Kingone, how is the lyric display function? easy to follow?

yeah, its pretty easy to follow. The lyrics appear two lines at a time ...

It;s about time they made a new Muvo...But the whole Muvo idea is kindof outdated. The market for low capacity flash players with barely any screen is shrinking fast.

blah...lyric support is a gimmick imo.
