![]() Some may have forgotten, but the Creative ZEN was actually the first 32GB flash player released. I thought it was a bold move at the time, considering the financial woes of the Singapore company. Despite their continued struggles, Creative has announced a 64GB model for the ZEN X-Fi2. They’re not the first to reach that capacity this time around, but better late than never I say. The 64GB X-Fi2 is available for S$399 Singapore dollars, or about $287US. LINK Thanks copper!

Apr 13 (2010) 04:40AM | Hi Wilfried, Don't expect an iPod Touch. The touch screen is a little slow and no multi touch... However, this X-Fi2 is great at playing music and movies. The accelometer works, great. I've been using the ADK and it's good te be able to write my own apps for the X-Fi2. Once you get used to it, it works nicely and the interface is (IMO) intuitive. The touch screen is no issue, I'm a happy owner. For it's price, the X-Fi2 Touch is great. Greetings, Bamsebjørn |

Apr 13 (2010) 02:06PM | I love the X-Fi2. I wish I could afford to buy the 64 GB. It's about time they released a large capacity MP3 player. |

Apr 14 (2010) 10:15PM | Not really...the iPod touch is much more than a PMP. Higher res screen, capacitive multitouch screen, full internet browser, Wifi, Skype, push email, access to all app store games/apps, support for thousands of third-party apps via jailbreak (such as VLC media player). This device has none of those features. Creative is lagging far behind these days. |

Apr 15 (2010) 05:11AM | Who cares.. aside from a handful of niche ONLINE etail stores.. this won't get any shelf/warehouse space in the USA market. The bar's been too high for Creative for some time now and 64gb isn't going to be a Killer feature with wifi-enabled PMPs anymore because an app can be developed to swap in-out media from online sources. The extent to which the PMPs become application, best-in-class interface & internet, and video out devices will make or break their popularity for the foreseeable future. Apr 18 (2010) 01:46PM | I just feel a bit sad for Creative these days....i used to be a complete fan of their products, and they got a lot of my money. Since the Vision:W, nothing else has really intrigued me....i check in here once in a while to see what they are doing, but it's really a lot of nothing....which is sad! |

Apr 20 (2010) 11:09PM | Well Creative has gone with offering a lot for the money, 64 gigs for $279 isn't bad, bet it'll be $220 come December. Creative isn't trying to compete with Apple, but my experience with the Zen has me planning on staying with them. |
