Sep 17 (2009) 05:50AM  | Playing media directly off cf cards is not that hard to do.. devices have been doing that for over a decade! Making an integrated media/file list between the internal memory and the cf card was the tricky part. This is a must if you want one seamless media list between internal memory & cf media. Although I think PDA's and Digital cameras use the "device drive" approach to media.. ie you access the drive, then then media. (so, 2 file lists, one internal, one external-- that means you have to remember where your media is). Though continue to keep the device interface simple.. no more than 2-4 clicks to access drive/media otherwise your moving further away from the simplicity that gave Apple massive market share. |
