Nice sleek little player !

I'm very tempted to see the side of the player but there is no pic currently of that...

Hope to see in action too.. sounds interesting..

Also the Games are all pedometer based..
Which is a small ball inside the player.. one hop = one step (which is how the pedometer works)..
more you hop.. more you run.. more you get points for the game i guess ...

This is pretty nice!
This is def something I would buy...this is the type of Zen Stone followup that I have been waiting for. I love Creative's recent players.
This player is MUCH MUCH nicer looking than the Zen Stone's with screens.
Count me in for one of these too!!!

I also need to see the player from a few more angles, but the screen does look nicer than that round Stone Plus one. Plus it looks like it has a windowless display which I also like.

If they're planning on releasing more players it would have made a lot more impact to do some kind of press conference to present all the players at once. as the new Zen line of players.

this player does look nice, but if it really is a follow up to the stone creative should have kept all the features of the stone. it's hard to see a player as a new version of another when the name, the looks and the features are different.

Not a bad little player - looks very decent, hard to see how it could go wrong really. AS SSJ said - we want more photos. Good work Creative for this one. So how long until we see "ZEN Krystal with Speaker" The only player left to replace is the ZVW - i'm waiting for that.

that appears to be everything i ever wanted in a small player. Hope the pedometer is at least 95% accurate with its distance measurement, if this is the case, no doubt i will buy one.

Better yet, it could not be a pedometer at all, more of an accelerometer, although this is not likely (there is a reason the nike+ ipod sensor goes in the shoe)

When they release something with more than 40 GBs of space I'll be really interested. As for this maybe I'll finally get a smaller sized player to use when I do cardio.

I know that the Zen and the Zen X-Fi are supposed to be sucessors to the ZVP...but I really see them as sucessors to the Zen Vision M...and Krystal of couse is a sucessor to the Zen Stone...they should come out with sucessors to the Zen Vision W and the Zen V Plus!!!

They are more successors of both. Creative is trying (it seems) to weed out the dozens of players they seem to produce. Another very successful company only produces 3 dedicated DAPs, and that plan works very well for them.

Personally, i dont believe that the ZVW was profitable enough - not that it wasnt a great player, just that its not a large enough market.

I figured out why they called this one Zen Krystal! The last one was called Zen Stone, and this is an upgrade!
I bet the next ones will be like sapphire and ruby and stuff like that. Then the'yll go through all the other Gameboy Pokemon games.

Damo i guess i was unclear. I did not count the iPhone or the iTouch, as they arent "dedicated" DAPs, and also Apple survived on just 3 player for ages. I guess i probably should count the touch though, since it probably competes with most 'mainstream' type DAPs.

Zen Stone?

I agree CF: there is no 'fine line' for what is a DAP and what isnt. I'm not going to defend what i said. You can count the iTouch if you want, but there are arguments for and against. As Apple keeps on telling us, it supposedly runs a cut down version of OS X (bullshit), so that would make it more of a pocket PC, yet it does as much as any DAP. I dont really know exactly. I am sure as hell not counting the iPhone as a DAP though, Its primary purpose is for communication, and is sold in phone shops, on a plan...

However, labeling something as a DAP is ultimately pointless. Its like arguing what a colour really is.

I just call everything PMP's.
