One of Creative's more quirkier products was their PoPz speakers. These speakers were built into a mesh lining that zipped up for complete portability. Although they probably didn't sound that great, I've always wanted to have one. Unfortunately they never made it to N. America, and the same can be said for the newest PoPz speaker. As you can see, this one is made specifically for the Zen Stone/Plus, which nestles nicely inside the casing. The speakers are powered solely by your MP3 player, which sounds good at first until you realize the Zen Stone's rated battery life is not so good. The PoPz P20 is being sold as a "Limited Edition" of just 50 at Creative's Singapore store. It costs 20 Singapore dollars or about $14US. I'm not sure why Creative would just sell 50 of them, but if you're in the Singapore area, please feel free to get me one. Features:

Mar 22 (2008) 05:35AM | Another weird product by Creative.. I keep on thinking to myself, What is the point of all these?? 50.. It's like a collector's item.. |

Mar 22 (2008) 05:47AM | - Mono Speaker Output - Battery Usage - Makes the Zen Stone With Speakers a bit depressed + Portable + Cheap, as its a Creative product and it might sound good. + Looks cool ! + All the mentioned points from Creative. |

Mar 22 (2008) 08:24AM ![]() | ...i own the popz!... ...awesome for sharing music with people... ...they arent that loud because of the lack of power... ...but it beats carrying batteries everywhere... ...plus they are really coooooollll... |

Mar 22 (2008) 09:54AM ![]() | I've got the Popz too....awesome speakers for there size!! |

Mar 22 (2008) 09:59AM ![]() | Why do they make like 3 docks for 1 or 2 creative players and none for their other ones... |

Mar 22 (2008) 10:53AM ![]() | Why waste the money to only make 50 of them? |
| keybowvio
Mar 22 (2008) 12:49PM | maybe they have 50 left over from before... lol |

Mar 22 (2008) 03:08PM ![]() | When writing this up, I was thinking that the 50 just referred to the deal of 20 Singapore dollars. I just can't imagine them making 50 of these ever. I figure once they sell out of those 50 at that price, they'll sell it for a little bit more |

Mar 22 (2008) 03:29PM | Yeah... thats what I thought it meant ! They can't just stop making.. But it does have it's downside like Mono Output and battery Usage of the player . |
| Scubit
Mar 22 (2008) 03:54PM ![]() | Actually, it could work with any player, it just wouldn't be able to fit in the little slot unless it was the stone... |

Mar 22 (2008) 10:22PM | That's rather cool. Shame they couldn't make it fold out into three pieces so you'd have two speakers... |

Mar 23 (2008) 02:07PM | maybe they're clearing their inventory of materials ![]() |

Mar 23 (2008) 05:10PM | I'd agree with LT3. It was probably a product that never materialized and they're just dumping what the have. |

Mar 24 (2008) 09:54PM | I love the idea and I think that Creative should make more products like this...and selling only 50 is a bad idea...I'm sure there are many more that are interested in something like this |

Mar 24 (2008) 11:25PM | I am kind of interested in this product. Have been looking for something similar for a while but don't know how loud these speakers go. May try and squeeze out some time to go check them out if they are still available in the shop. |
