Bit of a bonehead move IMO.. It might even have tempted me, even though the non-variable scroll speed issue has me concerned... something that should be fixable with an update to the firmware... More expensive..yes.. but flash prices are comng down with near regularity.. for that we have Apple and SanDisk to thank. But it puts real stress on companies like Creative.. who are struggling to make a profit. If player prices continue to fall.. and I think they will, due in no small part to a brewing battle between Microsoft and Apple.. we may very well see some DAP manufacturers exit the market...... |
